my male friend is complaining of nerve pain in testicle what could it be?

Hernia?: This could be a number of things, including a hernia, a pinched nerve in the back, or a problem in the testicle itself. A family doctor or a general surgeon would be the person to see and be examined by to make sure.

i think possibly have a varicocele. i feel on my left testicle nerves. lots of nerves. feel  discomfort. i can not sit well. what should i do?

"Bag of worms": A varicocele is dilated blood vessels in the scrotum, and may be uncomfortable, which is usually only time intervention recommended. See Urologist for evaluation and management.

i have a fleshy outgrowth at the bottom of my left testicle, it is soft and seems like a cluster of nerves.i don't feel pain. i am 16 years old,?

Growth: If this lesion is on the scrotal skin it can be evaluated by your physician or a dermatologist. If it's within the scrotal sac or appears attached to the testicle itself, it should be examined and evaluated by a urologist.

hi, a dr. recommended me to get 'lidocaine to the nerve';which i understood to be an injection for pain to the right testicle.is this safe and needed?

Here are some...: Intractable testicular pain after ruling out infection, inflammation, torsion, etc., may require further diagnostic and therapeutic effort with local nerve block with lidocaine. Furthermore, cutting off the offending nerve fiber (neurectomy) may be even required for long-term treatment. Remember: Nothing is free but everything always comes with its consequence.

i have pain in my left testicle. i didn't detect any lumps. it feels like someone hit me there. could it be nerve pain?

Pain: The feeling of pain must involves nerves otherwise you would not feel it as pain. If you are referring to specifically nerve injury related pain then this is usually quite severe. Even though you cannot feel anything on the outside with your fingers you could have something going on on the inside - something you cannot feel. If the pain does not go away then see your doctor.

i have light pain on my right testicle side, i don't know it is on testicle or on nerve which is connecting testicle with body. i comes by time and go it is happening from 1 week. it also came whenever i ejaculate or masturbate?

: If there is no swelling or enlargement of the testicle then wear a good support underwear and take Ibuprfen for a few days. It is probably a little inflammation and will get better. if not in a week or two pl see a Urologist for you will need to be examined. Hope you do well

: I think you are self diagnosing which is dangerous. PL see a Urologist ASAP or go to the ER.  Reperfusion injury mostly occurs after restoration of circulation after total occlusion. It does not affect nerves.

: Genital branch (L2) of the genitofemoral nerve (L1, L2) of the lumbar plexus

Accepted Answer

yes: A small difference in testicle size is normal. A varicocele or prior trauma may result in a larger difference in testicular size.  A mass in a testicle may also make one testicle larger than the other.  If this last scenario is the case, you should visit with your doctor.

It does branch: If the sciatic nerve is afflicted by a disc rupture, radiation of pain to the testicle can be experienced.
