Varies: There are a number if possibilities, the two mist common are a cervical radiculopathy or a rotator cuff tear.  A cervical radiculopathy is an irritation if a nerve in the neck causing pain running into the shoulder.  A torn rotator cuff does not always need a injury to cause, can be degenerative.  I would not hesitate to be seen.  An exam can usually determine the likely cause.

Neck, shoulder pain: May be cervical  disc disease/ muscle strain, . Cervical  spine MRI can  determine  the pathology.  Steroids short term,  motrin like products ( if not allergic), muscle relaxants like Flexeril, and nerve meds like gabapentin as well as kinesiotape,  and PT ( once you know pathology) may help resolve he pain.  Vit D l ,tumeric ( 1/2 teaspoon/ day), fish oil  2000 mg /d help as well .F/u/ w/ ortho

Pinched nerve: Yes, most likely a pinched nerve although there are several possible causes. You should start be seeing your primary care doctor. You may only need physical therapy to relieve the pressure on the nerve but may need more extensive treatments and, much less often, surgery to correct the problem.

Could be: Above problems may be related.Need to add different inhalers/oral medications to control asthma so that you don't have to use inhalers four times a day.

Neck pain: The shunt can be a cause, but more likely it is cervical strain or possibly a cervical disk herniation. I would get an exam by a neurosurgeon or neurologist and then imaging to look at the shunt and the cervical spine.

i have severe neck pain and right shoulder pain and headache since more than 1 week. i am not able to sit for long time due to neck pain and shoulder pain, what should i do?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Regular aerobic exercise would help by improving muscle strength and flexibility. Exercise at least 30 minutes each day at sufficient intensity to induce sweating. If that does not help in 2-3 weeks, it would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Not related: Your right sided pain may come from the cervical spine and i urge you to consult an orthopedist before things get worse.   As for your asthma, you need a controller drug (usually an inhaled steroid) on a daily basis and again this needs to be prescribed by your doctor. Talk to your doctor soon before your asthma gets worse.
