: Elevated liver enzymes make me concerned for autoimmune hepatitis, viral hepatitis, drug related hepatitis. This can also be a part of HELLP syndrome.where hemolysis, high liver enzymes and low platelet can be a associated with preeclampsia. Follow-up with your doctor to see if the drug needs to be changed or dose adjusted.

No worries: This a mild  and probably non-specific liver function test elevation (assuming you have no symptoms).  No remedy or meds needed.  Avoid alcohol, lose weight if overweight and your doc will tell you if you're on any meds which could cause this.  He/she will recommend  repeating these tests in the future.

Mgt: I would recommend having an evaluation, you may need  a longer course of medications. There may be mild inflammation of the liver and to determine the cause, your physician can order blood testing for Hepatitis.

Check with doc,RD: Can't tell here. Depends on cause of your problem. Could be due to infection (typically viral), toxic reaction to meds, immune, inflammatory, bile obstruction due to stone, tumor, etc also depends on what levels were at their worst (if this is improvement). Tough situation: Is your background asian? If so, it is likely you have a favorable genetic background that makes interferon work really well to eliminate hepatitis c. But it can be very hard to tolerate in older patients with heart issues.  And it depends on how advanced the cirrhosis is.  I would probably wait for sofosbuvir, although approval may take a while. Talk to your doc and follow the news in the us fda.
