May be warts?: That's a common place to get warts. Especially if they look like there are tiny dark dots in the skin, and it also looks rough. Warts generally don't hurt, unless they are on a surface that gets pressure, like the bottom of your feet. You can try otc wart removers or see a doctor for treatment. They can spread if not treated.

See dr: If it is red and hot you likely have an infection and are in need of an oral antibiotic. tHe hanging part can be successfully tried by the doctor without any pain.

Big toenail: It is possible that your toenail is turning white as a result of nail polosh use.  The ridging of the nail couls occur when there is cessation and resuming of nail growth.  This can be brought on by an illness.  Lastly, the redness along the side of the nail may be an ingrown toenail.  This  condition would require treatment.  If there is a concern that the nail fungal, a nail culture is recommend.

Subungual hematoma: When a nail is crushed or injured, sometimes a hematoma (blood collection) forms beneath the nail.  This can cause pressure on the nail sterile or germinal matrix (the region where nail growth and adhesion occurs).  When doctors see a subungual hematoma (blood beneath the nail), it should be drained through a small hole in the nail.  However, at two weeks, it is too late, and may simply be bruised

Probably ingrown....: There is a small piece of nail still embedded in the corner. You need to get that out. Soak to soften the area and try to get it free. If you can't get it out on your own, a podiatrist can. Sometimes this can be done without numbing the toe, but often, anesthesia is necessary. If it is a chronic condition, there is a very successful surgery that can be done to permanently correct the problem.

Does your dog bite ?: It still could be a bite of some sort. You are seeing a localized inflammatory reaction to a foreign protein possibly being introduced to your toe. There is dilation of the blood vessels and possible sub-dermal bleeding. Warm compresses may speed the resolution of the condition. If there is no improvement soon then it would be best to see your doctor.

Nail trauma: Likely nail trauma which should resolve within 2-5 days. If 4 yo has pain or fever should see MD.
