See your doctor: You should get it checked out soon. It could be inflammation around your nerve like carpal tunnel syndrome, or you could have a sprain or strain. It is always good to make sure you don't have a fracture.

Swelling: If it is both your hands I would consider some type of systemic proccess. Inflammatory, swelling secondary to renal problem, possible thyroid problem, medication reaction.

Tendonitis: Likely extensor carpi ulnaris tendonitis. Wear wrist support & do wrist, forearm, elbow strengthening. Consider larger grip, too.

Wrist: If you have no fevers and no swelling in the area or redness the most appropriate thing to do initially would be to take Motrin over-the-counter if you do not have any problems with your kidneys and utilize ice rest and elevation. You can also obtain a wrist splint from your local pharmacy to immobilize the wrist to see if this helps

blue painful spider veins on right arm extending to palm. wrist hurts when moving. can chlorella herb cause this since it has lots of vitamin k in it?

No.: You have another problem.  The use of blood thinners which are vitamin-k dependent do not cause spider veins, nor do theseause wrist pain. Something else is going on..... !

my wrist hurts . it hurts to bend down , grip things , squeeze things . when i got into bed the other night i hurt it.  i couldnt sleep with the pain last night . not sure if its broken or what . ?

Try a wrist splint : If you do not have a obvious deformity, no broken skin, and does not have lots of swelling and black &amp; blue around your wrist, you do not need to worry yet. The soft tissue injuries are more often than fracture. You can try to put on a wrist splint, use heating pad, rest your hand on a pillow at night. See a doctor if not better in a week.

Ganglion cyst: With no history of trauma this may be a ganglion cyst
they sometimes present with pain on the back of the wrist and pain with wrist motion...Esp. Push-up type activities
if symptoms persist evaluation by a hand surgeon is indicated.

It may: If there is a bone problem; a soft tissue problem is best seen on mri. The best exam is a physical exam and confirmed only by MRI or x ray.
