See an md: There are several other explanations for what may be occuring.  You are overly focused on pregnancy and are not considering alternative explanations.  You absolutely, positively have to see a physician.

You may have: a simple fluctuation in your hormonal cycle.  many factors can cause hormone fluctuations, including weather, exercise, nutrition (or lack of), emotional distress or stress, illnesses, big changes in routine, and infections. Missed period: If you still don't get your period then I recommend repeating the home pregnancy test in 7 more days. Then follow-up with your physician for further evaluation.

Late period.: Reasons for missed/late periods: low body weight, obesity, marked weight ^ or v, over-exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, ^ stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, hormone irregularities, drug use, meds (i.e., birth control) or medical problems (i.e. PCOS). #1 reason is pregnancy. Could repeat HPT but most likely not pregnant

It depends: The earliest way to tell if you are pregnant is with an early detection pregnant test done on your first voided urine in the morning.  This can be positive even a few days before a missed period.  Your doctor's exam should be able to tell if it has been more than 4 weeks since ovulation.

Non-ovulatory cycle: You didn't ovulate in your last cycle,  or that it was a late ovulation. You might wait to see when the next period starts. A doctor should be able to help you start if the period doesn't come when expected. Good wishes.

Wait: If LMP was 5/9 it really doesn't sound like you are 8 days late for june. That would amount to a 22 day cycle which is a little short for most women. Wait another week and if no menses, repeat the pregnancy test.

: Were the ovaries also removed? If yes, you will not get periods. Even if the ovaries were not removed, it is possible that at about the same time you entered menopause. You doctor can do blood tests to verify if you are menopausal.

Confirmation of pregnancy can involve additional testing such as blood test for hCG or a transvaginal ultrasound, typically done at 5 weeks to see the fetus in the gestational sac. Use first morning urine for best results.
