i noticed 2 very tiny dots of whiteish discoloration, one on my foot and one on top my leg.. is that an indication of vitiligo developing? i am brown skin?

Accepted Answer

: It could be  a few entities including the beginnings of vitiligo, but it might result from specific trauma to your skin via an insect bite or irritation. This is known as post inflammatory hypopigmentation. See your dermatologist to confirm and possibly treat.

i have brown dots on the side of my foot and i have noticed they are starting to move up my leg.  what are the dots and do i need to worry about them?

Tough to say: Without an exam it is tough to say.  Various rashes can signify different underlying conditions that may need examining, for example some Rashes are a Venous stasis dermatitis, caused by decreased venous blood flow of the lower extremities.  Other rashes could be a fungal variant, treated by creams, etc.  Get eval to know your cause, so the best treatment will occur.

d-dimer is negative, but front leg is extremely painful, warm to the touch and have a big red/brown mark. foot has extreme swelling. what could it be?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. Your symptoms warrant immediate attention and you should see a doctor or go the emergency room of a nearby hospital.

Get it examined: See a podiatrist to have it examined and checked.  It can be the result of problems in either the foot or ankle.

Yes: It could be either central or peripheral nerve problem.Need to be evaluated by a neurologist.

tip toed for 1 min, now very intensive pain in left calf for 3 days. can straighten foot but not flex it. nothing to see on leg.  what is it?

Accepted Answer

Strain: This suggests a strain type problem with probable microtears in the calf. Phlebitis doesn't appear likely. The muscle healing takes about a week, so avoid further stress on your calf. Warm applications,and antiinflammatories like Advil, (ibuprofen)if you can take them, May also help. See your physician if symptoms persist or worsen or if leg swelling occurs.

i've had consant pain in my lowet leg i also have numbness and pins and needls in my foot snd num toes?

Sciatica: Unless you have had an injury to your leg or foot you probably have sciatica which is coming from your lower back. Go see a back specialist or pain specialist to have this checked out.

i have almost constant itching in my inferior legs, especially the feet and big toes, for the last couple of weeks. it feels like i have bugs on me?

Accepted Answer

You may have bug : bites and if it's still irritating you may want to make sure to get rid of the cause (sand fleas, horse fleas, chiggers), and treat  for symptomatic comfort. Prevent againt infection and itching and swelling with OTC medications as needed. If it gets worse, see PCP and get prescription strength meds. Oral Diphenhydramine (Benadryl (diphenhydramine) generic) will counteract the histamine that's causing the itching.

Could be: a pinched nerve in your lower back (S-1)
