Fidgeting baby: There are a great number of possibilities to explain this.  Babies can be irritated by a number of factors e.g. Hunger, changes in diet, sensitivity to foods, changes in temperature, discomfort from teething or digestion problems.  Early symptoms of illness may start as just irritability.  Irritation of the skin or sensitivity to soaps.
If the problem continues consult your physician.

hi, my 3 and a half week infant is suffering from horrible silent reflux. doctor put her on 2.5mg nexium, once a day. this was 2 weeks ago. but it is only getting worse. baby is restless, cries, arches her back?

Other measures: The dose should be adjusted as the baby grows to treat her reflux, Monitor her growth and weight gain, add a thickener to the feeds and feed at an angle of at least 30 degrees. 
Avoid over feeding, burp mid and after her feeding. Discuss feeding during follow up visits.

Reflux: Do not do anything without your doctor instructing you to do so. I assume your have seen the pediatrician - perhaps a visit to a pediatric GI specialist may help. The reflux has to be evaluated.

my 3 year old baby girl keeps telling me het vegina hurts so when i do look it is red and she continues to fidget. what cream can i put on to help relieve the problem.

Bathtub soapsuds ?: Girls this age often sit in soapy bath tub water for prolonged periods.The vaginal entrance often gapes open when they cross their legs.The soap can enter &amp; form a film.Unless they are rinsed well the soap dries &amp; may trigger digging/scratching.This can eventually also involve a yeast infection or trigger a bladder infection.Tub showers help.Soaking in clean warm water often helps reduce symptoms

Hard to say: Babies use their fussing as the one communication tool. A baby that is feeding well &amp; growing is likely in a stable state of health. Parents must learn to "interpret" their babies cry over time with its nuanced forms as need for food, pain, their lonesomeness, etc.  Brazelton's studies show infants peak at random fussing around 6 wks &amp; begin to subside around 3-4 mo when they start to turn over.

Nothing important : Brazelton and other researchers examined unexplained fussiness in infants, finding that it peaks around 6-7 wks &amp; usually declines on it's own by 3 mo. Researchers label it colic if it happens 3 hrs/day at least 3 days a week. Unless their is something else going on I would consider this as part of your introduction to parenthood.

Newborn: When you notice behavior in a child as young as one month of age, it is usually significant and important to have your pediatrician or a physicians see the child to determine if there are some underlying problems that are difficult to diagnose just by talking over the phone. There can be subtle infections that her present that would need immediate treatment.

Natural Soothing: Chamomile is soothing, calming. Make an herbal tea with chamomile: steep 1 teaspoon chamomile in 1 cup hot water for 10 minutes; strain, cool; 1 ounce every few hrs for soothing effect. Also consider aromatherapy: calming, soothing essential oils are lavender, chamomile, and lemon balm. 2-3 drops in a steam vaporizer water for soothing effect. Caution: keep infants and toddlers away from steamer!
