can you have multiple tia strokes within several hours?

Yes: Transient ischemic attacks (TIA) is not really a stroke it is transient neurological symptoms lasting less than 24 hours, lately diffusion MRI of the brain has shown that even in TIA structural lesions are sometimes seen at any rate these symptoms have to be taken very seriously! see a neurologist.

Possible: While the answer is technically yes, most strokes and  tias are not caused by vasospasm but rather by plaque rupture, platelet aggregation,  and thrombosis.

Yes, and no: Yes it's bad if you are driving or on stairs or crossing a busy street, but it may be a slow heart rate or aortic stenosis and not a stroke.

I suppose so: Strokes and tias are, at their underlying cause, basically the same thing.  Both involve clots impairing blood flow to brain cells.  Tias are just when the clot fortunately dissolves in enough time such that no permanent damage has occurred.  Oranges are in general probably good and better than foods with high salt, fat, sugar or cholesterol content.

had 2 tias. cholesterol was the cause. i had another tia and was told not to go to emergency but lie down and let it pass. what if it was a stroke?

If there is no carotid artery disease, then risk factor modification includes keeping a healthy blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, no smoking, and taking special medication if there is a heart rhythm irregularity called atrial fibrillation.

If your doctor recommends you take Aspirin or a blood thinner, take it. This can help prevent having a stroke.
