Rule out: You shoulf be checked for low hemoglobin and thyroid disease as well as delving into if you could be suffering from things like sporadic leg movements or sleep apnea which can give poor quality sleep.

Excessive sleepiness: A multiple sleep latency test (mslt) is also referred to as the "nap study".  It is strictly for diagnosing narcolepsy with or without cataplexy and idiopathic hypersomnia ... Essentially, this test allows us (sleep physicians) to see objectively how sleepy a person truly is by calculating the time one falls asleep during 5 naps spread throughout the day.  It should be preceded by a night study.

No: It should be performed to the maximum attainable functional capacity.

Unclear: If it is subclinical, then that means the person does not have any symptoms. There is controversy over whether or not treating subclinical hypothyroidism is of any benefit. Would consider either no treatment or very low dose synthroid (thyroxine). Perhaps just wait and repeat test in 3 to 6 months. Symptoms like these deserve a full evaluation in person by your health care provider.

i was advised by my doc not to test for covid-19 even though i had had contact with someone who tested positive. in line with work protocol, i informed them of my situation and now they need proof that i am negetive. how do i do that without a test?

Contact with covid: I would suggest get tested. don't waste time. u may be an asymptomatic carrier and spread. if you were exposed at work and followed the guidelines, you should have went for a test even if you had isolated at the new guidelines days of 10 days

i had a dexamethasone am cortisol test - followed protocol properly and had result of .7 - but i have a "buffalo hump" and would like that to go away - what's wrong if this test result shows "normal"? what can this be an indicator for? i am worried?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. What you described as the buffalo hump may be due to osteoporosis and change in the curvature of the  spine.

treadmill stress test results. i am a 66 year old female. is this good, bad or fair?  utilizing the bruce protocol, the patient exercised for 5:31min, achieving 7.00mets, 106% mphr, peak bp 147/48mm hg. no chest pain, no arrhythmias.

Stress test: Although you only exercised for 5:31 minutes you reached 106% of your MPHR so it's considered a maximal stress test. If there were no ST segment abnormalities consistent with ischemia, you had a negative test showing no evidence of significant coronary artery blockages. If you have been having suspicious symptoms, you could have been pushed more to see if symptoms developed, but wasn't necessary.

took 200mg of diphydramine and not feeling tired at all and i really got to sleep, taking test is it ok if i take 200mg more for 400mg i'm 110 lb?

STOP!!!!!    : Overdose!!!  Don't take more than 50 mg at a time, and never more than 300 mg in a whole day.  Get off line, turn off lights and electronics, close your eyes.  Good luck on test.   Zmd

All are painless, and measured while you are sleeping.

Sleep deprived: When you are sleep deprived you feel tired, sleepy, drowsy, having headache, lack of motivation, unable to concentrate, frequently forgetting things, unable to stay attentive, then you will be irretable and not interested in talking or social life.
