A member asked:

I had a dexamethasone am cortisol test - followed protocol properly and had result of .7 - but i have a "buffalo hump" and would like that to go away - what's wrong if this test result shows "normal"? what can this be an indicator for? i am worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. What you described as the buffalo hump may be due to osteoporosis and change in the curvature of the spine. Wish you good health!
