Likely lymph nodes: There are lymph nodes in the armpit that may become noticeable when a skin irritation or infection involves that shoulder or arm. I would not automatically assume it has to do with the breast surgery/issue. Your doc can evaluate &amp; decide if this is important.

Depends: The question is what is "benign", i.e. What does the pathology report say? Why does this keep happening?  You need to ask your doctor these questions.  You may need to get a second opinion and seek out a breast specialist.

Fibrocystic breasts: Given your age and the fact that you are feeling these lumps in both breasts &amp; they are tender, it is most likely fibrocystic breast tissue. That is not a tumor or cancer, it is just dense fibrous tissue that can also form tiny cysts, and is very common in young woman. Good idea to have a breast exam to be sure.

i have multiple lumps (5-6)in my right breast, also near axilla, i checked my groin i found one lump on both, not painful and a bit movable, what are ?

Enlarged lymph nodes: Those may be enlarged lymph nodes reacting to whatever is going on in your breast. A MD needs to examine both the right breast and nodes for the cause(s).

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. Are there other issues, e.g, pigmented skin spots or patches? Family history of similar lesions? One possibility is neurofibfromas. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.

why would someones armpits feel sore on & off for months & months.. there are no lumps & sometimes they feel totally normal.. but then i will wake up one day and they feel sore, sometimes one, sometimes both.. then next day, gone! no other symptoms?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor, if possible on the day you have soreness. Regular aerobic exercise may help by improving muscle tone and flexibility. Wish you good health!

Pain in armpits.: There are generally two things of concern that could occur in the armpits.  You could be feeling inflamed lymph nodes, wherein the question would be as to the reason they're inflamed.  Or this could represent a rather stubborn infection called hydradenitis suppurativa. Regardless, you should be evaluated for this locally, as treatment may be needed.

Lymph nodes: The most common cause of lumps in the armpit is swelling of the lymph nodes or glands that are always there but usually small. They usually grow due to infection such as a virus or a nearby bacterial infection (even in days). The best thing is to talk to the doctor about it.  Sometimes the swollen glands are only in one area, and sometimes they are in several areas or "all over".
