mri states "femoral head uncovered". md says mild dysplasia. is this related?

Yes: Yes.  Having  a relative "uncovering" of the femoral head by the acetabulum is a type of dysphasia of the hip.  I would not hesitate to discuss treatment options with your surgeon.

toe acetinobacter unresponsive to cipro (ciprofloxacin). now on mino pending new cult/sens result.md says use mino+cipro (ciprofloxacin) b/c maybe abscess.but mri clear. d/c cipro (ciprofloxacin)?

Follow Rx: This one i would trust the md who put you on these medications, as terminating the antibiotics too early may create resistant bacteria.

hard nodule in neck. 2 mri's w/contrast an ultrasound, and labs performed. 2 ent mds say it's not cancer, it's a bifurcation of my carotid. can i trust this? it's painful and round in shape. non movable?

: Be careful about pushing on carotid as it can affect your heart beat and BP. I would trust those who know you rather than those wo do not.

Depends: This would depend on the state and country, but in general, licensed chiroprators in most states in the U.S. Can order mris of the spine.

can an md diagnose dyslexia?  can mri imaging diagnose dyslexia and if so how do i get my son tested

Accepted Answer

Sometimes, and no: A doctor may diagnose dyslexia if given a good description from the parents and a teacher. No x-ray or MRI diagnoses dyslexia. However, dyslexia should be diagnosed with testing by the child's school district (depends only on where he lives). This is required of all school districts in america. Then, parents can pay for another opinion from private testing clinics if parents want more information.

first mri shows cervical foraminal narrowing; the second, one year later, by different md makes no mention of it.do i need a 3rd mri to confirm or not?

No: This is a fairly common "finding" on mri, if your symptoms have not changed or if surgery is not being planned at that level this is really not an issue.

does a near complete opacifcation of the sphenoid sinus in your mri, warrant an ed visit or can it wait for a md office  visit?

Only if True Emergen: Sinus can be opacified  yet not cause any serious symptoms. Unless you have high fever and or severe headache, you can wait to see your  own doctor in his /her office. ER is a bad place to go unless you are getting into a bad shape yourself.

knee not back to normal in 3 weeks after drain/shot may mean a cartilage tear per md.  drain/shot caused this? i did nothing. i am not paying for mri.

Usually not. . .: If the drainage procedure was not traumatic ie bloody nor painful, it is highly unlikely the procedure caused you any negative effect. Commonly when a steroid injection fails to resolve the issue some other underlying cause such as an internal derangement of the joint or some systemic issue is producing the symptoms. Laboratory evaluation of the joint fluid may point to some underlying condition.

knee pain is getting worse 2 the point where i can't sleep or get out of bed. md recommended pt--can't c pt 4 2 wks. see specialist? get mri and/or x

Knee pain: Sounds like you would benefit from an Orthpaedic evaluation if your pain is worsening.
