Triploidy: This occurs when the cells & organisms contain three sets of chromosomes instead of the normal two (one from each parent). This occurs due to abnormal cell division, & occurs in some plants & animals such as goldfish. It rarely occurs in humans  where they have 69 chromosomes, are stillborn or pregnancy ends up in miscarriage. Cause is egg being fertilized by 2 sperms.

If you are pregnant, can be managed as high risk pregnancy, if you have a child with the disease, medical geneticist will help you better, if you want to avoid it,  PIGD is the answer, good luck

Health Anxiety: An hCG level of 1.9 is a negative result. Especially in light of it dropping from 5 which is already a negative result. While it never possible to be 100% sure that there are no trophoblastic cells left, focusing on the HCG obsessively can actually lead to negative physical stress in your body. Confusing post : There are many forms of such tests, on fetal tissue, chorionic villus cells, maternal serum &amp; others. A partial molar pregnancy is just a variant of a molar pregnancy &amp; some have triploidy.  A maternal blood test done as early as 9-10 wks can be studied for chm defects &amp; is 95% predictive. That paired with other studies can detect such abnormalities. You should consult a clinical geneticist.

He's rare: It sounds like you are saying that 85% of his cells are "normal" with 26 chromosomes including 1 x and 1 y (sex chromosomes that make him a boy) but that 15% of his cells have 25, with an x but no y.  Is that right?  If so, he should be seen regularly by a pediatric endocrinologist.  He needs his hormone levels checked and replaced if necessary.  Ask the pediatric endocrine doc for more info......

Clinical genetic  evaluation , chromosomal microarray ; skin biopsy help diagnose. Hyper- or hypo- pigmented areas are usually streaks that follow lines of blashko, invisible in most of us, but can be whorls/swirls.

Turner's means 44 plus X only
