Does a cytogenetic test test for partial molar after a diagnosis of triploidy? my fetus was diagnosed with triploidy, but no one is giving me answers regarding partial molar. they told me to try to conceive again?

Confusing post : There are many forms of such tests, on fetal tissue, chorionic villus cells, maternal serum & others. A partial molar pregnancy is just a variant of a molar pregnancy & some have triploidy. A maternal blood test done as early as 9-10 wks can be studied for chm defects & is 95% predictive. That paired with other studies can detect such abnormalities. You should consult a clinical geneticist.
