i have had swollen lymph nodes for 6 weeks now.. blood test can back wbc high rbc low. ct didn't show anything.. cervical lymph nodes 1.3 and 1.8cm.. ?

Need more info: Cervical lymph nodes can enlarge after an infection, but usually u have fever, pain, &amp; misery that goes along with an infection. Infection can cause high WBC and low RBC; however, other worrisome causes exist. Some infx last 6 wks, but usually they resolve in that time. More blood tests may b needed, but ultimately u need tissue (biopsy or excision) to make a diagnosis. TTYD or surgeon about it.

my blood test shows: fraction immature reticylocytes high .19, rbc low 3.82, mcv high 382, mch high 34.3, lymphocyte low 24%. what could be wrong?

B12/folate deficient: You need to be checked out for vitamin B12 or Folic Acid deficiency.    I wonder why  the doctor who ordered the blood test did not recommend getting these tests done. If these values were normal, then further studies will be required.

i've had two blood test (6 months apart) (cbc,cmp) both showed high billirubin(1.8), high rbc(5.82), high hemoglobin (17.3), and high hemacrit (51.8), all other tests normal. what tests i should get done, and what type of dr. should i see? thank you.

See below: Your hemoglobin &amp; hematocrit are still in upper normal range.  Slightly elevated level of bilirubin (Normal level, 0.3-1.2 mg/dl) with normal liver enzymes raises high possibility of Gilbert syndrome as underlying condition, which is relatively common benign condition affecting 5-10% of white population.

blood test result show high packed cell volume ,high rbc,  high wbc and high neutrophil count what does it mean ? with hand burning and oral thrush.

By itself, nothing: You're a young man and your somewhat high Hct may simply be you -- reference ranges are set so that several percent of folks fall outside on either end. Same for white count. The oral thrush, if proven, calls for a check for a few illnesses; the hands, a neuropathy workup perhaps. Labs are meaningful only in the context of clinical fnidings. Your physician owes you a full explanation.

Mono specific: There is more than 1 test for mononucleosis. They are supposed to be mono specific and will not rule out other conditions.

No.: Tests for infectious mononucleosis will not tell you if you have hiv.  You must have a test specifically for HIV to know if you have hiv.

Stop worrying: As a pathologist / lab physician, i often wish we didn't even have to report percentages -- they mean nothing apart from absolute values, and even these fluctuate chaotically / meaninglessly. Reference ranges are set so that several % of healthies fall outside; low RDW never means anything and the MCHC looks fine to me. Go enjoy your healthy body ; pay attention to how you feel, not numbers.

blood test result shows a low 38 % in the granulocyte and a high 20 in the mono category. is there a reason for concern? should i retake bloods?

Nope: Percentages not as important as the absolute numbers.  38% for gran and 20% mono not exciting at all.
