Perhaps: All your symptoms might be related to a sinusitis. However, pain above the rct tooth may not be. We can't confirm or refute that. You will have to see a local dentist to evaluate the cause of all your symptoms.

Tips for pain: Apply an ice pack to the side of your face for twenty minutes.  If no relief, try moist heat.  Take an over the counter pain medicine such as ibuprophen or tylenol (acetaminophen). Drink cold drinks or slushees.  Try spraying sore throat spray on the tender tissue. If no relief in two days, see your denitst as you may need to have these teeth extracted.

The : The different symptoms described are not typical, and i would advise that you be medically evaluated.  Any tingling/numbness must always be considered a warning sign for neurological (nervous system) problems and must be taken seriously.  Having an "aura", with strange smells or the feeling you are getting of a weird taste in your mouth can also be concerning for neurological problems, as can the vision change.  I would advise that you be medically evaluated for these symptoms.  When you see a physician, it will be important to tell your entire health history, any family history of medical problems, and any other recent symptoms that you notice.

Possible: When we speak of std's we are referring to chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhea, & hiv.  Oral sex may result in sore throat which affects the nasopharynx.  Any one of these diseases can produce symptoms of irritation  associated with bacterial or viral infection.  Bleeding gums are a sign of gingivitis or periodontitis which is in itself a low grade infection.  You should be tested for std's.

See below: Stick a water soaked wash cloth into the freezer, take it out and bite on it.  Borrow a infant teething ring-once again stick it in the freezer for a few minutes and use.

Advil (ibuprofen): Try giving  your 12 year old and otc pain reliever like advil or tylenol (acetaminophen). Or whatever you typically use for minor pain.  This should be enough to make him or her more comfortable until, the tooth erupts more.
