Yes: These are two completely different classes of antibiotics and totally structurally unrelated.  Metronidazole is predominantly used against bacteria that are obligate anaerobes (cannot live in the presence of oxygen), and penicillin may be effective against a variety of organisms.

i have a lot of pain and facial swelling from a root canal retreat. i was given penicillin v and metronidazole. when will the swelling go down?

Call your dentist: Typically it can take 24 hours for an antibiotic to take effect. If the swelling  and or pain is severe and increasing the you should call the dentist  and report this.  It may be necessary to change the antibiotic or  do. Another treatment to provide relief for you.

: Most people who are allergic to PCN do not have problem with cephalosporin antibiotic so you can take first or second generation cephalosporin. Dentists commonly prescribe cephalexin (keflex). Erythromycin or clindamycin can also be used in patients with G6PD. We do not use metronidazole for oral condition but it is not contraindicated in G6PD patients.

Either: Either drug is fine as a second line for tetanus. You need a 10-14 day course. Good luck

BV: Either is potentially effective, depending upon the nature of the organisms present.  Many doctors will also try and change the ph level in the vagina or add a different bacterial flora.  See a gynecologist and good luck.

Nope: Penicillin and metronidazole (Flagyl®) are entirely different antibiotics. Neither one "contains" the other. If you may have had a penicillin allergy and now have been prescribed metronidazole, you need not worry. There is no increased risk of an allergic reaction.

Yes: Yes, you can take them both together.  May experience some stomach upset, however.  Try drinking a large glass of water when you take them.

Clindamycin: There are other antibiotics to use, such as clindamycin, for group a streptococcus throat infections. I am concerned about how many antibiotics you are already allergic to. Given your young age it might be worth seeing an infectious diseases specialist and/or allergist to determine what antibiotic options you have before the time you really need them.

As : As far as I am aware there are no interactions between Metronidazole and marijuana. I am sure you are aware that marijuana is illegal, therefore it is in your best interest to try an obtain a medical marijuana card if you do not have one already.
