Varies widely: The cervix will vary a lot from person to person just like your nose, ears and any other body part. No two will look or feel exactly the same. It is great that you are interested in knowing your body. Next time you schedule a visit ask your doctor to walk you through in detail what they feel and see so you can learn even more.

There are 3 types of: Muscle, skeletal-compose of our muscle mass attach to the skeleton; smooth-located in the walls of hollow visceral organs except the heart; cardiac or striated. In practice, the term is sometimes used to refer exclusively to cardiac when distinguishing it from smooth muscle. Other dictionaries called striated muscle to skeletal muscle. Good question!

Hemorrhagic cyst?: It may represent a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst. A unilocular thin-walled cyst in the adnexal region with internal fine interdigitating septations/fibrin-strands, which give a fine reticular appearance (multi-striated?), good through transmission, and color doppler showing no flow in these fine septations is consistent with hemorrhagic cyst. Discuss with your radiologist on what his thoughts were.

Possibly swelling : You should bring your symptoms up with all doctors that are giving you medication. The finding could be a warning that your migraine is about to start, it could be medication-related, and with the description of the strea it could be that you have intermittent swelling of that area with numbness when swollen and the stria when not. You need to be seen when you are having symptoms.

i read that myasthenia gravis causes, by a hypofunction of the striated musculature, a variable motor dyscoordination. also, i read that incoordination caused by hypofunction often is the cause for tmj so does that mean tmj may be caused by mg?

No: I think you posted this question before, and it was answered. No disrespect, but some of what you have read you haven’t understood, and other parts you’ve misinterpreted. That’s no reflection on you: As physicians, knowing these things and how they fit (or don’t fit) together is what we do. As far as I know,  myasthenia gravis and TMJ are unrelated.

: It is not easy to answer your question because the histochemical study is essential in reading of the muscle biopsy result. So far, we have known you have a neuromuscular disorder, not a lone myopathy. Please follow with your doctor for a full pathologic report and diagnosis.

: Muscle biopsies are generally done to diagnose inflammatory conditions but also genetic &amp; neurogenic  muscle disorders.  The pathology report appears to diagnose a neurological disorder rather than a primary muscle disorder. Your ordering MD or specialist, who knows the clinical features of your case, can advise you best.

: Sounds abnormal and points toward a peripheral neuropathy, which can  be caused by numerous disorders.  Ask your physicians about the next steps.
