Can get better: Septal hypertrophy happens when the heart muscle has to work too hard and it grows. If it gets too big there is less space for it to hold and pump blood. You should work closely with your doctor to make sure that you get the work load off of your heart. You can stop progression but you shouldn't expect the hypertrophy to go away.
