when should i take my metropol?

Metoprolol?: I think you mean metoprolol. I use chronotherapy as part of my practice. If you look at bad events like stroke or heart attack, they happen most between 4am and 8am. If you take medicine at 7am its effect occurs at 11 am or so and wanes by about 4 am. So for certain meds without water pill, i tell my patients to take them at night so peak effect is when it is most needed, even long acting.

Coreg (carvedilol): Coreg (carvedilol) is a beta blocker as is metoprolol but it also has vasodilator properties more than metoprolol has.

Pulse: Resting pulse of 55 is within normal limits. Would suggest that as a 26 year old, taking meds for hypertension, that you should be under the care of a specialist cardiologist.

See below: Budeprion and bupropion are the same; since these are generic products, recalls would be specific to a manufacturer. A recent fda opinion questioned whether bupropion is the equivalent of branded wellbutrin.

No worries: There are no significant interactions between citalopram and metoprolol. It is a commonly-seen combination.
Propranolol is in the same class (beta blocker) as metoprolol. Propranolol, though, can enter the nervous system and has potentially-desirable effects such as reducing tremor, reducing risk of some headache types, and reducing some types of anxiety. FYI

Not dangerous: However, long term use of Excedrin (longer than 2 weeks) can reduce the metropolol&#x27;s blood pressure reducing effect.
