Budeprione recalled: I'm not certain about metropolol, but budeprion xl, which is the generic (made by teva) of wellbutrin (bupropion) xl was recently recalled because it failed to meet the fda standards for effectiveness of the original, brand name drug. Generics of long acting forms of meds seem to be harder to duplicate than short acting ones.
