Taking citalopram and metropol is it safe?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No worries: There are no significant interactions between citalopram and metoprolol. It is a commonly-seen combination. Propranolol is in the same class (beta blocker) as metoprolol. Propranolol, though, can enter the nervous system and has potentially-desirable effects such as reducing tremor, reducing risk of some headache types, and reducing some types of anxiety. FYI
