Lymph nodes inflamed: mesenteric refers to intestinal area and adenitis referrs to lymph node - all means inflamed or reactivated lymphatic nodes in gut area as a result of immune reponse to some bacterial infection. Just like sore thorat causing lymph nodes enlargment around neck it can be same around gut. In kids it is common with strep thorat that  some abdominal pain is caused by " non specific ( genreal) mesenteri

Mesenteric nodes: These nodes can react to bacterial, viral or abdominal infections just as  lymph nodes in the neck do. They also react with malignancies.

Lymph nodes: Would consider biopsy, could be reactive or castlemans or due to  underlying celiac, autoimmune or other condition f/U with doctor /urgent care

wait for the results: You should not speculate when the results will be back very soon. However, a hard lymph node generally indicates more significant disease.

Doubtful significanc: It is important to tell us what symptoms, if any, do you have in your abdomen? In other words why was the CT scan done?
The lymph node that you are concerned about is unlikely to be abnormal. Unless the lymph node size is &gt; 10 mm, it is not of any significance and is likely to be normal.

many possibilities: It could a benign process or a malignant one.  Only a biopsy inspected by a pathologist can say for sure.

does my dizziness and my mesentric enlarged lymph nodes have anything to do with my high mpv level and low glucose level?

let's talk: Your dizziness could indeed but caused by low glucose.  An enlarged mesenteric lymph most likely has nothing to do with the dizziness. A mpv (mean platelet volume) is only a number representing the size of your platelets and has nothing to do with any of the other condition you have mentioned.  If that lymph node persists i would suggest a ct guided needle biopsy so a pathologist can evaluate you.

Can't tell here...: But patients have lived decades with appropriate care and nutrition support, often dying from unrelated causes (like other people). Key is seeing mds with familiarity and expertise in the problems associated with short ( not simply shortened) bowel.

Many possibilities: The combination of enlarged spleen and internal lymph nodes could be any of several infections (mononucleosis, syphilis, HIV, and several others, of course depeding on risk); inflammatory conditions like sarcoidosis; various malignancies like lymphoma; and more. The doctor(s) who have been evaluating this problem and requested the CT scan are the only ones who can answer accurately. Good luck.
