May be muscle:  It may be muscle. You can try heat. I will try some back flexiom and the back extension exercises. If the pain persists you need to see your physician.

Deep Heat Rub: Deep Heat Rub contains anti-inflammatory medication which can affect the fetus via crossover into the placenta. This has mixed reviews, so check with your OB physician for advice.

Back pain common: AS a young person it may be what have you been doing As one is very active and able to do much,  the possibility is very high. The pain can  be quite severe and is can last for several days. The muscle relaxants may help with a little time and the pain relievers should be no stronger than advil (ibuprofen) Give it a little time and if no better on Monday see your doc.

Deep Heat: Deep Heat rubbing gel is used to treat muscle soreness. It acts like a counterirritant that produces a penetrating heat sensation by increasing blood supply. Perhaps you rubbed in the gel vigorously or used too much. If your skin developed deep and spreading redness or a rash, it's wise not to use it again.

i have pains on my neck and shoulders. i can't turn on my sides especially the left side and i'm unable to look up. i went to the pharmacy they prescribed  betapyn but it's not helping,  i've also used deep heat patches. please help, it's been 2 week?

Neck pain: There are several reasons for this and much more information is needed. This most common things that come to mind is a disc problem in the neck, muscle spasm, or referral pain from an organ like the gall bladder. Hot pack can make things worse if used more than 20 minutes at a time

No harm: No harm in trying. More traditional deep heating techniques include ultrasound and can be soothing for any muscle injury. Soothing however does not mean it is aiding in the actual healing...Only making it more comfortable so that your body can potentially mend itself. If not improving then see your doc.

i have two bumps on my neck. they are both very painful and this morning it felt worse. have tried deep heat and muscle relaxers- no improvement. 3rd one arose today. they dont move under my fingers when i press on them. should i go to a dr?

Definitely: Among others, deep abscesses, such as the ones seen in hidradenitis suppurativa may be the cause and specific treatment will be needed. See your GP or an urgent care facility.
