Oil pulling: Oil pulling has gained in popularity over the last few years, but there is no sound scientific evidence that it is effective for anything at all. Instructions are to swish ail in your mouth for a full 20 minutes as a substitute for brushing for 2 minutes. It may slightly reduce the bacterial levels in your mouth, but will do nothing to treat the viruses that live along  your nerve trunks.

: Herpes is primarily a skin to skin transmission infection. If the infected person had herpes virus on her hands after touching herself( even with no rash)  it can still be transmitted within that time frame.  I don't know about baby oil, but some oils are said to kill or inhibit herpes type 1 virus.

L-arginine and: High quality and strong enough (50 % epa&amp;dha) fish oil are good products but high arginine can raise prob of herpes outbreak.  Avoid arginine containing food such as nuts and chocolate.  Lysine supplement will help balance arginine out.  Fish oil studies show benefit for cardio, joints, skin, eyes, and inflammation.  Peace and good health.
