Recent publication: I'm not a hand surgeon but i see you've been waiting for awhile so i did a pubmed search and found a journal article from 2013 describing an alternative treatment: triphalangeal thumb with polydactyly: an alternative surgical method. Ozturk mb et al., . J hand microsurg. 2013 jun;5(1):20-3.I recommend you discuss this with your hand surgeon to see what your options are--not much published recently.

how do i stop a 4 years old child from sucking her thumb. is there any medicine out there?

Bedtime: I try to narrow the thumb sucking to nap or bedtime. I tell the child it is okay to suck the thumb in bed. By focusing on one time per day, the child feels there is still hope of not getting in trouble for the habit. Eventually, the nighttime habit will lessen too. Medicines, bandages and yelling do not seem to work well.

This : This sounds like it could be carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, or something called de Quervain's tenosynovitis.

Carpal tunnel syndrome-caused by a pinched or compressed nerve in your wrist, can lead to the symptoms you described
thumb arthritis -inflammation of the joint in your thumb causing pain and swelling, less typically numbness. 
De Quervain's tenosynovitis-inflammation of a tendon on the thumb side of your wrist. This can cause pain and swelling of the thumb, and is worse when writing or using the thumb.

Your primary provider will be able to make a diagnosis after a complete history of this problem, directed physical, and possible lab tests or imaging (i.e. X-ray).

For now the thumb splint is a good idea, resting your hand whenever possible, icing the thumb, and continuing over the counter pain medication. Try an anti-inflammatory medication (ibuprofen, or motrin)

Depends: It depends on the degree of the tear (partial of complete), the position of the bones against each other, the degree of the diasthasis (separation). Simple tears may be treated with buddy taping or finger splints, whereas complex ones may require surgical correction.
Simple analgesics such as tylenol, (acetaminophen) ibuprofen/naproxen are usually enough to subdue the pain.

Unlikely: Nodular tenosynovitis( " trigger thumb") is unlikely to be improved w/ a squeeze ball. In fact, it may make some trigger thumbs lock more often! consider having a trained health professional give  u an injection in the " a1" pulley. This can help tremendously. If not , consider seeing  an ors  for pulley release.

First, : First, i would make sure it is a corn as opposed to a callus.  Corns are caused by too much pressure in combination with friction.  They are essentially the bodies way of protecting the area from the pressure and friction.  Calluses are more diffuse whereas corns are more cone-like thickenings.  The most homeopathic treatment would be to make sure your footwear is appropriate and not putting too much pressure on certain areas of your foot.  Beyond that, traditional measures can help combined with finding a good podiatrist.  I hope that helps.

Surgery: If it was really an aneurysm, of the thumb you should had surgery, and complete resection of the aneurysm.

The tissue should be undergo histological examination, although may also be traumatic.

Probably not: because trigger finger is caused by chronic, not acute, inflammation.  But trigger finger does not usually present with swelling.  Ask your doctor if it could be something else.

i can't walk properly for the past 1 month, i feel pain in my ankle in & around the left leg,doctor took xray & said no fracture & gave tablets,but got water blisters in my left thumb alone after having tablet for 1day so stopped medicine what to do?

: Your description is to vague to provide an appropriate response. If you walked a long distance you could be experiencing an overuse injury. Try icing for 48 hours (ice 20 minutes /one hour off)  proper shoes might be needed. Good luck
