The symptoms may last a week or 10 days and can include muscle aches, diarrhea, agitation, trouble sleeping, sweating and chills. You might consider seeing an addiction medicine doctor if you are unable to get off them yourself.

Several can: Although most tramadol withdrawal is milder than other opioid withdrawal syndromes. Low doses of Methadone or Buprenorphine (suboxone, subutex etc) with a taper will help most people come down from tramadol. It is usually mild enough that just treating the symptoms - nausea, diarrhea, muscle pains - with proper medications and Clonidine may be enough. Underlying psychiatric issues need treatment.

It can be treated in the same way other opioid withdrawal can be treated, but is usually milder and will pass on its own in 3-5 days or so.
