Yes there can be ...: Withdrawal symptoms after discontinuing use of tramadol. Although some refer to it as non-narcotic because of its chemical structure, tramadol is a narcotic due to its effect on the brain and nervous system. It should only be taken in small amounts, only when absolutely necessary and not when driving.
