Phenergan (promethazine): Phenergan (promethazine) is generally not recommendedfor children under 2 years of age since it can affect their breathing. Benadryl would be a better choice

i have sinus & eye allergies i use overthe counter medicine i find the effects are reduced is it possible to build a tolerance to otrivin & phenerghan?

Yes: Otrivin is a local decongestant, should not be used more than few days in a row, as continuous use would lead to rebound congestion, and shouldn't be used if you have cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, and others. Phenergan (promethazine) continuous usage can lead to tolerance: you need more of it after some time to have the same effect. See an allergist or ENT/ophthalmologist for management, good luck

See your doc : There are several causes of these symptoms- some are dangerous. It's best to be evaluated by a gynecologist first. You don't want to miss conditions such as gallbladder inflammation, appendicitis or some infection that could lead to complications in your pregnancy. Hope this helps.

Phenergan (promethazine) supp.: Phenergan (promethazine) suppositories usually dissolve completely and start to work in approximately half an hour.  Phenergan (promethazine) is usually recommended at 4 hour intervals.

Yes: There are definitely drug interactions between Phenergan (promethazine) and Percocet which can lead to drowsiness, mental confusion and others which make operating motor vehicles possibly hazardous, falls possible, nausea to name a few. Be very cautious taking the two together and especially around machinery.

Not recommended: there are at least 3 side effects between these 5 drugs. Ask your physician for medication adjustment and which drugs are most effective and have the least side effects.

Phenergan (promethazine) used for Allergy or sometimes as sleep aid.
Do not use them together.
Using Xanax with Phenergan (promethazine) may increase dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment.

It's possible: Phenergan (promethazine) has been known to depress breathing in adults and this can be fatal in infants.  It is a serious but rare reaction that can happen, so do not continue to take phenergan (promethazine) if you have noticed this, and contact your doctor so it can be noted in your chart.  If you are having difficulty breathing, use your inhaler (if you have one).  call emergency response if you are having difficulty.

Yes: Not a prominent side effect , but it's structurally similar to some of the older antipsychotics, has small effects on dopamine, and thereby a negative effect.
