Associated sxs can include: low energy, hopelessness, low self esteem, & problems with sleep, appetite, concentration & decision making.

If you feel better: I imagine that it was your description of feeling anxious and depressed that led to being prescribed medication. So, you may be able to compare how you feel now with then. Especially if it was mild, you'd be the only good judge of it. A psychotherapist might help you to understand your feelings and discover ways to manage these things too. Best!

im on mirtazapine for anxiety and depression but have chronic belching since i started on it.is the drug causing the belching?

Mirtazapine: This medication has multiple adverse reactions many of them gastrointestinal.  I was not able to find belching or burping as a listed side effect. However, if his symptom started at the same time as you started the medication it may be related.  I would discuss this with your doctor.  Do not stop this medication suddenly s severe problems can occur.

if one uses gabapentin for chronic anxiety/ and or depression , how long will they need to use it  to treat it fully, can this drug be used longterm ?

Most likely: If medication is working .How long you have been taking most of the time take for one year and reasses .What is cause of your anxiety if its because your thyroid problem or due to GABA deficiency .If its working continue taking and talk to your doctor . Some cases Neurontin (gabapentin) help anxiety and pain.
