Dysthymia: Dysthymia (dysthymic disorder) is chronic, mild depressed or irritable mood which occurs most days for at least 2 years in adults or at least a year in a child. Associated sxs can include: low energy, hopelessness, low self esteem, & problems with sleep, appetite, concentration & decision making.
