Folic acid in 800-1200mcg might increase the risk of heart attack in people who have heart problems. Dont take more than 400mcg a day unless directed by your healthcare provider.

Why are you taking folic acid. Taking folic acid in the presence of vitamin B12 can make matters worse. Get tested for B12 or take sublingual B12 in addition to folic acid.
