Accepted Answer

The : The level of pain after a necklift and facelift varies from person to person. A lot depends on your pain tolerance. This type of surgery, in general, isn't very painful though I do prescribe a narcotic pain medication for my patients after surgery in case they need it.

21 or 23g.: I agree that 25g may be unnecessarily small.  21g or 23g would be better.  Pain comes less from the size of the needle and more from the technique of the injection.

which medication should i avoid prior to having your laser spine procedure?

PreSurgical meds: I am not a surgeon, but i know you should avoid Aspirin or products containing aspirin. This would include alka selzer, b c powders, pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) as well as other preparations. These substances act as blood thinners and increase bleeding complications. Ginkgo biloba can have similar affects. Be sure and check with your surgeon, they probably have a list of what to avoid. Good luck.

You need to see spec: Specialist, everyone is different and your treatment needs to be made for you so you should see a sub- specialist and not your regular obgyn.

i have a growth on my finger that started about 2 months ago. i have cut it off 3 times and it keeps growing back.can i get medication to deal with it or will it need a procedure ?

Finger growth:  May be a wart or another type of lesion -fibroma, Is it dark or flesh colored? If dark my rarely be melanoma ,very rarely a merkels cell(red or purple)   I would follow up with  dermatologist to have it biopsied and removed.

Geographic Tongue: Yes, there are medications to ease the pain of geographic tongue when that occurs, but first see your own dentist to confirm the diagnosis. Avoid hot, spicy and acidic foods and see if that&#x27;s enough to make you feel comfortable first. If not, your own dentist can prescribe something as otc medications won&#x27;t work as well.

Medications: Diet, weight loss, and exercise can improve cholesterol levels. Medications are usually effective. There is no surgical procedure for high cholesterol. For severe forms of high cholesterol, specialized filtration is available.

Broad question: This is too broad of question to reasonably answer.  The type of medication and procedure would not only depend on the area of the face needing surgery but the individual surgeon performing the operation.  You would need to discuss this with the surgeon performing the child's procedure.

Trigger finger: If caught within 2 months if the onset of symptoms there is a good chance a cortisone injection can relieve symptoms.   Surgical treatment is available.  I would consult with a local hand surgeon to discuss these options.
