Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

Sounds like sinus: problem but occasionally migraines can act this way.  You are pregnant and on steroids (for?) so you could be susceptible to certain types of infections.  You can safely use saline nasal spray and a mild decongestant nasal spray if needed, inhale warmed humidified air (put towel over your head over sink), but see doc if you get any rash in your facial area, a fever, or drainage yellow/green.

Hydrate & Humidifier: Are you drinking enough fluids during the day or taking diuretics?  Try sleeping with a humidifier on moisturizing the air you breathe in.  You may have dry-, or be drying out your nasal passages.  
If not better, have an evaluation by and ENT md.

Sounds like allergy: Why do you think that this is not from an allergic reaction?   Try an antihistamine to see if it helps.  If problem cannot be resolved, see your doctor.
PS: Allergy can develop at any age.

Take antibiotic now!: In the future, if you ever have a piercing, make sure the person looks to see if you have any abscesses he is piercing first! Oh, and by the way, pull out the foreign body until you are healed!
