For certain people..: There are some studies to suggest that drinking cranberry juice can help prevent utis in woman who have had numerous previous utis. This is about the only group that has shown some benefit. For those who have never had a uti, it doesn't seem to help. It doesn't help to treat a uti, either. It doesn't seem to help males.

UTI treatment: This sounds mostly like a psychological reaction and probably not dangerous. But discuss with your doctor if you continue to feel unwell. FYI, cranberry has no health benefit. It was once thought to help treat or prevent urinary tract infections, but that has been disproved. But keep taking the antibiotic -- that's what is going to cure you.

Water is good: Water is better drink then cranberry juice as cranberry juice has calories which may cause weight gain and obesity  as it contain sugar.

Sugar in juice: There is sugar in fruit juices so drinking any fruit juice would not lower your blood sugar.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Not useful: Taking cranberry tablet is unlikely to be doing you any good, other than lightening your wallet. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. 
Cranberry juice has lots of sugar, so be careful if you switch to juice.
Get HPV vaccine.

Cranberry doesn't: Cranberries have hippuric acid which can prevent bacteria from sticking to the lining of the bladder.  They do not treat bladder infections, nor do they prevent yeast infections.  If you take them drink plenty of water to prevent kidney stones from developing from the oxalate content.  Risk is higher with the pills vs fruit or juice.
Probiotics, yogurt may prevent yeast infection.

None: Cranberry juice does not get rid of UTI (rx bacterial infection of bladder), but may be helpful to prevent UTI (has hippuric acid, keeps bacteria from latching on). Antibiotic is much better to rx active infection.  Drink "plenty" of water and other beverages (8 glasses/day is good target); can get some of this from soups, juices, fruit. If irritated bladder, symptoms can be worsened by caffeine.
