Gland, cyst, node: Most common palpable nodules in relationship to the jaw would include salivary glands, cysts of the salivary glands and lymph nodes.  Lymph nodes are usually tender with acute enlargment and are associated with an infection or ulceration in the mouth.  Salivary glands can have acute infection and enlargement due to saliva back up associated with salivary stones or bacterial infections.

i have a hard moveable mass under my right side jaw. (kidney bean) inflamed and painful if probed. had it for a year. no change. ?

Mass under jaw: 23 M from US: I have a hard moveable mass under my right jaw (Kidney bean) inflamed and painful if probed. Had it 4 a yr. No change? ANS: most likely swollen lymph node or submandibular gland or cyst. Show to your health care team and see what they think.

Condensing osteitis : Most commonly this would be a condensing osteitis and is a benign condition of sclerotic bone.  Many other similar findings exist.  Hopefully the dentist informed you of a course of action. Even if it is to only observe.

It: Could possibly be an inflamed gland (salivary) or an abscess. Should definitively have it checked!

Mass on the jaw: This could be lymph node which is most likely. It also could be related to the parotid gland. Seeing ear nose and throat doctor to remove it is important.

Significant: Full history?
Fever, chills, mono, prior infection, dental issues, history of malignancy anywhere?
Ent exam may include imaging, biopsy ; cultures to clarify.

Joint: You need to be examined to determine reason for joint dysfunction.  You may have a displaced disc.  Start with your Dentist.

Sounds like: enlarged lymph nodes.  Lymph nodes can enlarge with infection, inflammation, or rarely with malignancy such as lymphoma and Hodgkin's disease.  It is best to consult with a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
