my 2 year old has had a fever for 2 days, infrequent urination, a runny nose for a week and now her eyes are red and leaking mucus. what could it be?

Likely virus: These symptoms are common problems which happen when children catch a virus (a "cold"), especially in the winter-time.  Children can catch cold viruses several times a year.  They usually last only a few days.  If they last a long time or happen quite often talk to your daughter's doctor.

my baby boy 2 year  old having fever (102) from past 3 days  , temperature goes down after medicine is given but fever comes after few hours of medicine. no rashes and no other major symptoms?

At day 4-5 seen: If the fever is ongoing, provide Tylenol and/or Motrin to control the fever, fluids and rest. Watch for pain, vomiting, rash, cough and other symptoms. At day 4-5 of fever without symptoms, a visit with your PCP is suggested.

2 year old son has major congestion, his nose is constantly full of mucus despite how many times i use saline spray and extract. he is struggling to breathe when he sleeps. is there anything i can do to give him some relief while sleeping?

: Your son should see his doctor ASAP. You need to find out what the etiology of his congestion is so it can be treated. Once the congestion is treated, he may need a sleep study if he is still having breathing difficulties while he sleeps. So, get him to his doctor ASAP so his congestion can get diagnosed and treated. my 2 year old daughter has a wbc of 17.19 and a segs count of 56%. she has had major bruise like rash and joint pain. is this normal?

Possible HSP: You have given very limited symptoms,  so it's very difficult to make any diagnosis with certainty.  That being said, I'm suspicious of a condition called HSP,  which is characterized by purpuric rash (especially on lower legs and butt), joint pains,  GI symptoms.   Could also be other bacterial causes as WBC is a bit elevated, but normal seg percentage l Needs evaluation by a pediatrician asap

Stay strng; carry on: Certainly children can have intense fears of unexpected things.  As a parent, try to stay calm yourself no matter how she is behav.  Don't belittle or reprimand for a fear.   Comfort briefly with a hug and verbal reassurances; don't prolong the comforting attention.  "you're okay" and perhaps hand her her special comfort toy and move along.  Don't overreact or point out areas of her fear.

Tips to help prevent tantrums: 1/ maintain a schedule and consistent routine so your child can predict the day’s activities. 2/ reward her for positive behavior and praise her when she is doing well, “nice job sharing  your toys.” 3/ when tantrums occur, help her redirect  by substituting a desired activity,  for example read a book together.

: The child should be evaluated in an ER since this could have an effect on her depending on her size. The could make her lethargic and her breathing should be monitored. Can be: They can and do meet basic calorie requirements this way and can grow at a normal rate.However, bottles keep the feed in the front of the mouth bathing the teeth.This eventually results in cavities and a need too cap the teeth to prevent loss.They can develop nutritional deficiencies.  I remove anything but water from the bottle after 1yo, if attached they keep it.Yet they eventually begin to eat.
