Can be: They can and do meet basic calorie requirements this way and can grow at a normal rate.However, bottles keep the feed in the front of the mouth bathing the teeth.This eventually results in cavities and a need too cap the teeth to prevent loss.They can develop nutritional deficiencies. I remove anything but water from the bottle after 1yo, if attached they keep it.Yet they eventually begin to eat.
