For whom?: For children a good bedtime routine is what works for you. Many parents find that bath and then story time is helpful. Reading to your child is incredibly helpful. It stimulates language, problem solving and is boding time and quiet time. A bedtime routine can max out at 30minutes so parents are not entertaining all night. Listening to a  story tape or classical music can also be beneficial.

Bedtime routine: Turn off all electronic devises including texting an hour before bedtime. Listen to relaxing music. Take a warm bath or shower and try to go to bed at the same time every night

Separation anxiety : This is a very normal process.   Your child is learning to identify being alone and it is an uncomfortable feeling.   Letting her sleep with you is okay.   A good way to encourage separation is to give her a security blanket or stuffed animal.  The key is have the blanket smell like you and be associated with being with you.  Then when she is alone with hr blanket she can feel your presence.

Easy: Clean teeth and use a "christmas tree" brush to clean between teeth morning and night.Also a good diet. If you have any gum bleeding from gingivitis, use a daily dose of coenzyme q 10.

Possible: Prediabetics can have episodes of high blood sugar as well as low (hypoglycemia).  The cause is Insulin resistance.  These fluctuations in blood sugar can be controlled with proper diet, exercise and vitamins.  A low carb diet with moderate protein and good fats will help stabilize Insulin levels and blood sugar.  Daily exercise is very important.  Vitamin d3, chromium, ala, etc. Might be useful.

Often takes upto 4-6 months, if using Retin-A nightly, for facial changes as you mention to become apparent .

87 yr old male after thoracentesis procedure within 1 day , hemoglobin dropped from 7 to 5. before he was maintaining a steady level in the 9 range over 2 weeks in hospital no other issues though is this common after procedure?

: No. A drop in hemoglobin like that suggests bleeding from the thoracentesis and needs immediate help valuation.
