No. A drop in hemoglobin like that suggests bleeding from the thoracentesis and needs immediate help valuation.

Such a drop in hemoglobin is not likely after a non-complicated thoracentesis. A different condition or conditions may account for the drop. Transfusion will be needed at this level of Hb.
