Yes: You can take magnesium and vitamin B6 even though you have psoriasis. If you take methotrexate, you should also take folic acid.

Not a treatment: Vitamin B6 and magnesium are essential nutrients, generally found in adequate amounts in mixed diet. However, neither of these is a treatment for high blood pressure.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Can be : magnesium is calming and many people who have sleep issues are low in Mg, 5HTP may be helpful as the precursor to melatonin the other items I am not aware of any sleep enhancing effect

i've started taking magnesium and vit b6 tablets and have since had two spells of dry flushing on face, arms and chest. could the tabs cause this?

Very unlikely: When given IV magnesium can cause a warm flushing sensation deep within, not on the skin, but i've never heard of this happening with oral magnesium as one doesn't get a high level in the blood at once. B6 will not cause this. The only vitamin that causes flushing is b3 in the Niacin form (not as niacineamide) so this is almost certainly a coincidence unless it's an unusual reaction to excipients.

: The answer is yes, you can safely give these to your son, but I would not go into it expecting much difference.   While these may help an occasional patient in certain circumstances, studies clearly show that they do not make much difference for the vast majority of people who try them.  As far as brand, choose one that is regulated some  how so you know you are getting the dose it says it has.

Listen to your body: Magnesium and b-6 in that dose are safe but your persistent symptoms indicate that you likely have other deficiencies and toxicities. You may be low in testosterone and  toxic to cadmium, a ubiquitous pollutant. Check 25-oh vit d3 and  take suffcient amounts. Lithium can block a toxic effect of cadmium on the testes restoring testosterone.  Sleep 8 hours, eat healthy, move,  and  manage stress.

Yes: The amounts that are in your multivitamin, so it is safe to take an additional b-complex and magnesium chloride.  The question really should be if you need to take these.  There are certain conditions for which it is a good idea to take a multivitamin or even higher dose vitamins/minerals/other supplement, but many people don't need to take anything additional over a healthy diet.
