Dietician: It would be advisable for you to have a one time consultation with a registered dietitian at your local hospital for a healthy diet and the proper amount of daily calories for you and your level of daily activities. Diabetics,for example, are advised to avoid all concentrated sweets and markedly reduce their starch intake. Most of their calories come from protein and healthy fat intake.

Depends: In general, the less carb you take , the better off you are with diabetes. But a life totally without carb can be an unpleasant one.   As to how much, it would depend on your lifestyle (how much exercise etc) and severity of your condition and thus you need to consult a dietitian re. your diet.

Statin: has strong reliable effects on lowering heart attack and stroke. Diet..... especially a high fat diet... no. Drugs that just lower dietary contribution to blood cholesterol (cholestryramine) didn't work well on prevention.
Exercise under supervision, more helpful. Statins can cause fat to replace liver--needs imaging tests to monitor if other liver disease.

my blood sugar levels are 200 measured 2 hours after food. i have been advised medication by my pcp. i have drastically cut down on carbs in the last 3 days. i still feel fatigued and thirsty all the time. 
is it related to food intake?

Steady, long term weight loss is the only way to reverse this disease. You should be monitoring your glucose levels daily to avoid hypoglycemia and take the prescribed medication.

: It is more likely from change of diet. Most of the time there are no adverse affect after GB surgery

Carb blocker: Evidence that carb or starch blockers are effective is somewhat weak. They may curb your appetite and can cause uncomfortable gas and diarrhea. I doubt any interaction with beta blockers. Your pharmacist should have more information on this topic for you. In the meantime, limit your intake of pasta and pizza to cut down on calorie intake.

Completely eliminating can be very difficult, and often times causes people to "fall off the bandwagon".  It is recommended to eat a balanced diet, of whole foods, fruits, vegetables, and always combine fat, carbs and protein to help keep your blood sugar stable.

No carbs: Protein and fat only- 
eggs, fish, meat, chicken, turkey, and cheese are all examples of protein, fat without carbs. Many nuts are also protein and fat with little to no carbs as well.
