Yes: Lymphedema can be confined to one area of the neck. Usually there is a history of trauma, surgery or infection in the area or related area. I would consult with an surgical or lymphedema specialist for more information.

hi, i have difficulty swallowing at times. i have been coughing, and thought my throat is sore to swallow. also, i have a condition named lymphedema. there is a question of whether swallowing is apart of it?

i saw a neurologist ,he did electric shock in my lymphadema arm,and wanted to put needles in to check neck for ddd i stopped him, was i right to do so?

Depends?: The "shocks" will allow on to determine if there is any damage of nerve in the arm.  The needle assess nerve activity to the muscles.  If all of the muscles in a myotome are abnormal, that is, they all share a common nerve root, then we know that nerve root is dysfunction and there may be a problem at the level of the neck (radiculopathy).

Itchy skin: Alcohol is a spontaneous mast cell degranulator (the histamine containing cells in your body) so drinking alcohol can simply get them angry and release the histamine.

: The only disease that I'm aware of that alcohol seems to provoke discomfort in is  Hodgkin lymphoma. The mechanism is.unknown but may have to do with dilation of blood vessels within lymphoma tissue. There could be other benign conditions in which alcohol provokes discomfort also. If you have other symptoms of sweats or fever of otherwise unknown cause, see your physician for evaluation and advice

Have it checked out.: Have it checked out. Neck pain with alcohol consumption raises one potential concern which would be a certain type of lymphoma (usually one that responds very well to treatment). That being said, this is really very rare, but regardless would recommend you see your doctor about it.

Abstain completely!: You may have some anatomical abnormality if the pain is immediate. Go see a good ENT and may need an MRI of head a neck area. Good luck!
