Lymphocytosis: meaning increased absolute count of lymphocytes and decreased count of neutrophils, both are white blood cells which fight infection, usually lymphocytes are increased with viral infection, common in babies, with a resulting decrease in neutrophil count, if your baby looks fine otherwise, these numbers will normalize, if this is not the case please a follow up with close monitoring with his doctor

Yes...: When you are sick (such as the viral illness you are describing as flu) it is normal to have enlargements of your lymph nodes.  You can expect that as you feel better, the node will slowly return to normal.  If the large node persists beyond a few weeks or seems to be getting larger, have it evaluated to confirm that there are no secondary problems.

What patient thinks : 87 yr old could be very  healthy and functional,  need to be treated  just same as young person, but how ever quality of life in elderly equally important  , patient should decide , if he can not , too ill to decide  not going for extraordinary measures is not considered a neglect .Physicians will encourage for such decisions , make end part of life as comfortable as possible.

i am  24 year old man. i have almond sized lymph nodes all over my body. my cbc levels are just above low in the borderline normal range. mono, ebv, hiv, and many of tests came back negative. should i get a biopsy or bone marrow test? please help.

Biopsy: Please see a specialist who can biopsy the lymph nodes as indicated. The concerns include chronic infection which is untreated or malignancy. 
Other testing may include an immune workup.

What are you asking?: I am going to assume that the history is of a primary lung cancer metastatic to the brain and hip, with a good result from radiation and chemotherapy. This is not uncommon and i would not be surprised if it buys 5 or more good years, though ultimate it will be fatal. A lymphoma appearing in the mediastinum would need to be managed by an oncologist and may also respond well. Patient must decide.
