Lymph glands: The lumps on the neck are probably lymph glands reacting to infection and/or inflammation in the scalp. The scalp lumps could be infected hair follicles, psoriasis or other dermatitis, or viral lesions like shingles. Have your md check these areas if they don't resolve.

Nodes: There are thousands of lymph node located around the body.Many in the neck, head,  behind the ear are prominent in kids as they are not buried in tissue . At rest these are often 1/4 inch in diameter and may grow to marble sized when reacting to a stimulus.Shots,bites or viral infections can increase their size to 1 cm or more.Most will  shrink  down to pre-stimulated size over 3-4 wks.

Neck lump: In this region, ingrown hair or inclusion cyst are common. Enlarged lymph nodes are usually located on the sides of the neck rather than the midline. Visual blurring is best evaluated by an ophthalmologist and would be unrelated to the neck lesion. A physician would have to examine the neck lesion in order to make a diagnosis.

"shrinking technologies" such as radiofrequency (i.e., thermage) or high frequency ultrasound (liposonix) rarely achieve the degree of skin contraction that is required.

Cysts?: They are probably what we call sebaceous cysts that are common. To be very sure have your physician examine you.
