will the lumps after my liposuction resolve on their own?

Post Lipo lumps: Hard to say. If "lumps' due to swelling/blood collection than over the 3 month healing time with aggressive lymphatic massages they should decrease. If "lumps" residual fat deposits than those are permanent. In this later case I might try Injection Lipolysis treatments (fee $880/session).

what causes lumpiness after chin liposuction? i've read some forum comments about people having lumps in their neck after chin liposuction. is that normal? does it go away?

There : There may be some lumpiness in the early postoperative phase as collagen is laid into the wound. This should resolve after a few weeks to months. There is also a chance of uneven fat removal because of the inherent structure of the skin and subcutaneous tissues. This does not happen in every patient but there is a risk for this complication.

Depends on the cause: of the lump. It could be swelling, a hematoma ,a seroma, an infection..... So see the surgeon to check it out.

Depends: Thanks for a great question, but without an exam in person, such a personalize question is difficult to answer.  It is possible to develop loose skin after aggressive liposuction in the wrong candidate.

Ab exercises: One the fat has been removed with liposuction, there is less fatty tissue covering your abdominal muscles.  With the proper diet and exercise program you could develop a 6-pack.  This is not easy and you may need a personal trainer to fully build up those muscles.

But if I could guess what you'll do is try and push it sooner than that.And you might get away with it if you are very very careful and start real real easy, like legs only for a while. The concern is tissue adhesion and avoiding swelling,which slows healing.Too much exercise puts too much strain on the healing blood vessels.Also,any drugs that do that, like smoking or uppers

does zerona liposuction work on darker skinned people? i've read comments that it doesn't. why? it's supposed to be targeting my fat. so what does my skin color have to do with it?

Not on lite skin : I am not convinced that it works on light skin. Try dieting and exercise because they recommend this as part of the zerona regimen and that is likely the most effective part of the treatment.

Depending : Depending on your age and skin elasticity the skin can shrink wrap back down after liposuction. In patients who have skin that we are concerned that the skin won't shrink back properly a facelift or necklift may be warranted to optimize the final result.
