today i just found a lump under my left breast on the rib cage. it is very painful and i have another on left back rib which radiates to the front. are these symptoms of cancer?

Need to see your doc: Only a doctor's examination can clarify what it is. Any lump, if it is new and it is real, means something is wrong. It can be an infection(skin) or it could be something else.

Get it checked: You should have it checked.  If it is not in the breast tissue itself then it may be a cyst or boil that needs to be treated.  If it is a painful lump in the breast then it needs to be examined by the doctor.  Those are usually benign fibrous type growths but you need to have an exam to be sure.

Skin infection: Sore lump  usually (but not always) indicates an infection, and in your case it might be a boil. 
However, it is difficult to say without looking at it and examining the lump so please check with your doctor

Breast exam-now: including breast ultrasound and mammogram if deemed necessary. Any unexplained breast lump  at your age, requires a 3 position breast exam, testing and imaging.

Well, no its not: Normal but at 25 the cances of it being cancer are verrrry low.  It may be a cyst or what's called a fibroadenoma.  Your doc would probably order an ultrasound or try to aspirate it with a needle if he thought it a cyst.  Good luck.

Cyst or lipoma: You need to have this evaluated. Most of the time these are benign lipomas or cysts. BUT you can't guess at these things. See your doctor for evaluation

Muscle verses nerve: Continue to use the rub, heating pad to treat the strain. If the numbness and tingling doesn't improve, the possibility of thoracic radiculopathy should be considered. Thoracic imaging such as MRI can be utilized for further work up

I am not sure: It could be inflammation of the ribs and cartilage known as costochondritis, which can be painful.  However without a good exam, it is tough to tell you exactly what is going on in the area.  See a dr. for a more definitive answer.  Best wishes.

Multiple factors: chest wall strain, intercostal myalgia/neuritis, compression from underwire, breast issues, heart issues, nerve issues. I suggest a breast exam and a breast ultrasound.
