Could be Many Things: It's impossible to say in this setting what it could be. Lumps inside the mouth are varied in cause. Examples: aphthous ulcer, herpes virus, abscess, various types of cancer. Certain lumps can also be a sign of a disease happening elsewhere in your body. If you smoke or use smokeless tobacco, stop now! Use greatly increases your risk of cancer. Make an appointment with your doctor to evaluate!

: The lump is most probably a lymph node, which enlarges when there is an infection. This would explain why it shrinks when you are being treated with antibiotics. Local enlarged lymph nodes indicate an infection in that area of the body. If it is by your neck/jaw/cheek region, then the infection can be related to teeth, throat, ear or sinuses. Talk to your Dr for further exam.

Parotid Gland: Probably the parotid gland, the salivary gland that gets swollen when you have mumps.  For your own peace of mind, and just to make sure what you are feeling is normal and not pathologic, ask your general dentist to refer you to an oral surgeon for examination.
