hi. i had a bad accident in which my both lips got severe injury and i had got stitches inside my lips.now its been 2 weeks,stitches are dissolving but i've developed lumps inside my both lips and i cant even smile properly.are these lumps permanent?

: The lumps are likely a part of the healing process. As long as the lumps are getting smaller, you may watch and wait. If there is pain, discharge or ulceration, it would be prudent to see your doctor.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

i got a spit lip  9 weeks ago that needed stitches and now there is a hard lump scar wich makes my lip look fat. will that soffen and go away in time?

Possibly : Scarring can take a while for that to heal. If there is pain or if it does does not look right i would probably see the doctor that did the stitches and if not see a plastic surgeon have a nice day.

i got stitches yesterday on my bottom lip because my tooth punctured it i have a red bump by the stitches is it a bruise how long will it take to heal?

Be patient: The lip is very well vascularized and usually heals quickly.  The bump could be edema, blood or a swelling in relationship to the pattern of the bite you suffered.  Give it a few days.

a couple of weeks ago i had sinus surgery.(head sinus drained) now theres a massive bump where the stitches used to be and i have a lot of pain ?

Stitch reaction: This is a very common reaction where the body tries to attack is stitch as if it’s a foreign body, which of course it is. Then scar tissue can develop so I recommend your surgeon inject kenalog into the area to prevent scar tissue development and reduce inflammation

Maybe,maybe not: Generally, if the cut is limited to the red of the lips, it is ususlly left open to self heal.Bacteriostatic factors in saliva keep it from festering. If the cut crosses over into the junction between facial skin and the red , stitches may be needed to line up the edges and prevent healing in a jaged line.

Depends how deep: If it's not split too deep or wide then it can heal on its own. If the bleeding stops and doesn't keep restarting it should be O.K. Otherwise see your dentist or physician.

Doctor can evaluate: Lumps or bumps may be cysts filled with dead skin cells and/or oily sebaceous gland secretions. Sometimes an infection happens if bacteria get inside the bumps and cause white blood cells to go there (causing pus). It's hard to guess what a "lump" is on a public forum. One's primary care doctor, a dermatologist, or an Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate and give some recommendations.

Wound: face has very good healing . superficial wounds should heal with in a week although the scarring will take time to get less noticeable ( months).stitches on the skin come out on the day 7. Deep sutures are absorbable and stay in for couple of months ( you don't need to worry about them) before dissolving.

is it normal to have a brown skin lump from having stitches?

Yes: Any trauma to skin including sutures can cause pigmentation and scar formation. See a plastic surgeon if this bothers you.
